Phosphorous is an essential element required in metabolic processes, protein synthesis, and growth of corals and macroalgae. It is important to maintain phosphorous levels along with nitrogen levels in order to allow for optimal growth and coloration of corals and macroalgae.

Supplementing with Reef Phosphorous™ provides a targeted means of increasing phosphorous concentrations effectively without also adding dissolved organics. Reef Phosphorous is ideally suited for use with an aquavitro® sentia™ dose doser to maintain phosphorous at consistent concentration based on your aquarium's unique demand. Reef Phosphorous™ is easily dosed manually as well. Ideal phosphorous levels will vary but generally range from 0.02 - 0.05 mg/L phosphate. Reef Phosphorus™ contains 0.117% elemental phosphorous. Use Seachem’s Reef Nitrogen™ to achieve a balance of nitrogen and phosphorous levels for optimal results.
