From Mackay to Brisbane

The last leg of the Walkabout Tour began as we left Mackay heading south to Bundaberg to rest for the night before moving on to Brisbane where we will have two flash sales and close the Walkabout out with a long time partner of Seachem PetCity. The long leg from Mackay to Bundaberg was riddled with rough roads and it’s share of road hazards to say the least.

Once in Bundaberg we found rest and nourishment at a local favorite Grunske’s seafood market. It was simply just what the doctor ordered since we all love our fish so very much.

The next morning we had an early breakfast before heading onward to Brisbane and I’d have to say this ranked as one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat. Indulge is the name and that’s just what we did! The slogan at Indulge is as follows, “we try to smash your face in with flavor, it’s as simple as that”, and it was just that simple. From here we struggled to make our way, smashed faces and all, on to Brisbane.

This leg of the journey was quite stunning and we found it impossible not to take advantage of the majestic mountains of the Glass House Mountains National park as a backdrop for the H2Go. However, as is the case all over Australia there is extreme beauty in the landscape.
